PINEHURST, N.C. — June 2026 — Global Defense, Inc. (GDI) successfully concluded its Second Annual GDI Rally and Executive Meeting in Pinehurst, North Carolina, bringing together the company’s board, executive leadership, technical team, strategic advisors, industry partners, and invited guests for a multi-day program focused on growth, technology advancement, mission alignment, and team development.
Following the company’s inaugural rally last year, the 2026 event marked a major step forward in both scale and substance. This year’s program reflected GDI’s continued maturation as a company, with expanded participation from defense, emergency management, satellite communications, hardware engineering, power-source innovation, and strategic advisory communities.
GDI team members and participants traveled to Pinehurst from across the country, including California, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, Iowa, Colorado, Tennessee, Michigan, and other locations. Their participation underscored the company’s growing national footprint, the commitment of its expanding team, and the importance of bringing key personnel together in person as GDI continues to build momentum.
The 2026 rally included participation and engagement from emergency management representatives, BAE, Iridium-related partnership discussions, hardware engineering development representation, future power-source and battery-replacement representation, cleared Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) representation, and senior defense-focused advisors.
A central focus of the event was GDI’s continued advancement of GDAM – Global Defense Asset Management, the company’s proprietary, patent-pending platform focused on operational asset visibility and decision support. The rally included a formal board meeting and a technology demonstration for GDI’s board and executive team, giving leadership a practical view of the company’s technical direction, platform development, satellite-enabled data pathways, hardware considerations, and future capability planning.
In addition to the broader rally sessions, GDI conducted closed strategic and technical discussions involving GNSS-related concepts, cleared representation, hardware development, power-source planning, and future capability development. These sessions were structured to support disciplined growth, protect proprietary company information, and align GDI’s technical roadmap with mission-focused opportunities.
The event also featured motivational leadership sessions and high-impact discussions that reinforced the company’s mission, culture, and long-term direction. Across the weekend, participants engaged in formal sessions, informal collaboration, shared meals, team-building activities, and leadership discussions that strengthened relationships across the company’s growing national team.
“This year’s rally showed the growth of GDI happening in real time,” said Allen R. Mayfield, Jr., Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Global Defense, Inc. “You could see the company maturing right in front of your eyes — in the quality of the discussions, the strength of the team, the caliber of the people in the room, and the seriousness of the mission ahead. The momentum was unmistakable.”
The weekend concluded with a round of golf at the historic Pinehurst Country Club, providing a fitting close to a successful event marked by collaboration, camaraderie, strategic focus, and shared commitment. Attendees left energized by the company’s progress and already looking forward to next year’s rally.
“GDI is building more than a technology platform,” Mayfield added. “We are building a team, a culture, and a mission-driven company capable of supporting real national security challenges. This rally made clear that we are no longer talking about potential — we are watching execution take shape.”
The Second Annual GDI Rally and Executive Meeting underscored the company’s continued movement from early-stage concept development toward deeper technical maturation, stronger partnerships, and operationally relevant demonstrations. With an expanding team, growing partner network, and continued focus on GDAM, GDI enters the next year with renewed confidence, alignment, and momentum.
