PINEHURST, N.C. — August 22, 2026 — Global Defense, Inc. (GDI), a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business focused on delivering trusted operational visibility, asset accountability, and decision advantage, recently participated as a Platinum Sponsor of the 2026 National Association of State Fire Marshals (NASFM) Annual Symposium.

The symposium brought together state fire marshals, public-safety leaders, emergency-management professionals, industry partners, and other stakeholders from across the nation to address challenges affecting fire prevention, emergency response, interagency coordination, and public safety.

As part of the symposium, GDI demonstrated its Global Defense Asset Management (GDAM) capability and discussed the importance of providing leaders with trusted, near real-time visibility of critical assets, resources, and information across organizational and jurisdictional boundaries.

Throughout the symposium, the GDI team engaged with fire marshals and public-safety professionals on challenges associated with asset visibility, cross-jurisdictional coordination, information sharing, and managing resources during complex incidents. Those discussions provided valuable insight into how capabilities developed for demanding national-defense environments may also support state and local organizations confronting similar information and coordination challenges.
