Jeanne McAvoy is an experienced executive support and project coordination professional with more than 25 years of experience supporting senior leaders, boards, and distributed teams across complex organizations. At Global Defense, Inc. (GDI), she provides high-level administrative and operational support that helps strengthen internal coordination, executive effectiveness, and day-to-day organizational execution in support of the company’s mission.

Since 2012, Jeanne has operated as a self-employed Virtual Executive Assistant, delivering executive-level support across a range of industries. Her experience includes drafting and editing contracts, bids, policies, alerts, academic materials, and government-related reports, as well as managing schedules, communications, and data-intensive workflows with accuracy, discretion, and professionalism.

Earlier in her career, Jeanne served as Secretary to the President and Board of Trustees at a State University of New York institution, where she supported executive leadership through strategic planning, budget development, staff coordination, and board governance processes. She also brings experience from education, nonprofit, and entrepreneurial environments, giving her a well-rounded, adaptable approach to executive operations.
